Harvested on the Fraijanes Plateau in central Guatemala, this coffee comes from a high-altitude, volcanic region known for clarity, balance and vibrant acidity.
Fraijanes sits on mineral-rich soils influenced by nearby volcanic activity, with cool nights, morning mist and defined wet and dry seasons. These conditions slow cherry maturation and help develop complexity and sweetness in the cup. The region is officially recognized by Anacafé as one of Guatemala’s distinct coffee-growing areas .
This lot is naturally processed, dried with the fruit still intact. The longer drying time encourages sugar development and results in a fruit-forward cup with excellent body and brightness.

Good morning ☕
Today I’m trying the Guatemala Fraijanes Natural, brewed on a pump espresso machine. For a medium roast, it’s impressively well balanced and light on the palate. It’s smooth and easy to drink, yet the flavor notes still come through clearly in the aftertaste. The taste lingers pleasantly, carrying through until the next sip.
This isn’t an everyday cup of coffee—it’s more of a “special occasion” brew, perfect for when you want to slow down and really savor the experience.
