The first coffee we’ll be adding to the gift box is a new washed Nicaragua coffee from the Sajonia Coffee Estate. This coffee is harvested under shade by small producers that live in the vicinity of the protected nature reserved located in the Isabelia mountain with a maximum altitude of 1570m.
Cupping notes: Fruited, toasty aroma with hints of walnuts and chocolaty notes. Medium – mild citric acidity and good body. Mildly fruited in the flavour and a clean aftertaste.
Our second coffee is a washed, organic Ethiopian coffee (varietal: Heirloom). This coffee is from the Horra Anderacha coffee plantation in the region of Andracha Woreda grown between 1800m and 2000m
Cupping notes: Bright, floral-fruity aroma with hints of lemon and tea – rose. Medium citric acidity with good medium body. Complex sweet fruit as well as bright lemon & lime flavours with a lingering aftertaste.
We are confident that you’ll pick up the contrast between these two origins and would love your feedback.
To sweeten the deal we’ve added a choice between our new Boere Biscotti with delicious chocolate chips and dates or our renown Gegrond Rusks all of which was lovingly baked by us.
